Yesterday (7th August 2017), YouTube has launched a new messenger service for its mobile platform users to boost video sharing even more. Now users can share videos with contacts and also can chat directly in its mobile app for Android and iOS. Friends can chat about the video shared in their YouTube’s mobiles app. They reply with text or emojis or with another video. The message threads reside within YouTube’s app.
Share the love as fast as you find it. 🏎💨

This new feature will probably be most used by the people who frequently upload and create their own videos and also just just watch. This in-app feature looks good with following features
- It allows you to find friends from your phone’s Address Book.
- You can share a video to you contacts within YouTube app.
- You can add text or emoji or another video to conversation
- Group sharing with up to 30 people
The roll-out of the feature isn’t entirely surprising. YouTube first started to test the new feature in Canada earlier this year. “Thanks to all your feedback, we made some improvements and are now ready to roll out this new sharing feature to all users globally,” de Boursetty said Monday. – source
This new rollout might result in migrating the users from other apps like whatsapp, snapchat, wechat and Facebook messenger to use YouTube’s in-app chatting feature.
Finally, now you can forget to respond to message on YouTube too 🙂
